- P13F planers sold in all Australian states and territories from September 2006 (serial nos. 760001~760030, O60001~O60015, N60001~N60040, 170001~170147, 570001~570120)
- C10FR table saws sold in all Australian states and territories from September 2006 (serial nos. 760001~760130, O60001~O60030, N60001~N60190, 170001~170232)
- C10FL table saws sold in all Australian states and territories from September 2006 (serial nos. 760001~760030, O60001~O60015, N60001~N60030)
- C10FC mitre saws sold in all Australian states and territories from November 1996

How to identify the products affected:
The serial numbers of the products affected by the voluntary recall are set out on the Hitachi name plate affixed to all genuine Hitachi products.

|
Description of the Problem:
- P13F planer: The anti-kickback device is not positioned and configured satisfactorily to provide optimum protection during operation.
- C10FR and C10FL table saws: The riving knife mechanism does not provide sufficient adjustment capability, and its positioning relative to the saw blade requires modification.
- C10FC mitre saw: When the saw head is in its fully upright position, the self adjusting guard of the product does not completely enclose the lower portion of the blade.

Modification required:
Hitachi Power Tools Australia will take remedial action as appropriate for each model without any cost to the customer.
What owners need to do:
Owners should contact Hitachi Power Tools Australia Customer Service to have the modifications installed.
